Jeffrey Okolo is an experienced project/human resource manager with a demonstrated history of working in the media, non-profit and communication industry. Skilled in Customer Service, Strategic Planning, Teamwork, and Event Management, he’s a strong Project Management professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Covenant University and a Master’s degree focused in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
His work has seen him interface with community-based organizations to identify the skills’ gap of youth in Nigeria and putting together sessions focused on Active Citizenship, Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Creatives to have the beneficiaries be employable.
Jeffrey is concerned about subjects such as tech, human resource, unemployment and its economic impact, literacy, eradicating poverty and inspiring leadership, through the effective deployment and use of media. With over 6years of experience, he is responsible for driving the non-profit initiatives of The Future Project which is a subsidiary of RED. He has handled youth projects for Microsoft Nigeria, FORD Foundation, National Endowment for Democracy, The Future Awards Africa and more along with his team.
