Olamilekan Omidiji

Project Manager

Olamilekan Omidiji is a young civic actor passionate about using the media as an active tool to galvanize young Africans into action. He is an experienced project manager, researcher, data analyst, and journalist with professional experience across all media genres. Olamilekan holds a BSc in Mass Communication from the University of Ilorin and is a Fellow of the Nigerian School on Internet Governance. *(NSIG)

His work has seen him interface with young Nigerian leaders and social innovators to achieve The Future Project’s mandate of inspiring the young generation of African Leaders through Active Citizenship, Jobs and Entrepreneurship. In addition, Olamilekan leads the YMonitor Team, a social accountability programme of The Future Project with support from the National Endowment For Democracy.

He is responsible for the execution of other nonprofit initiatives of RED| For Africa, the mother company for The Future Project, which includes The Future Awards Africa, and advocacy campaigns such as My Vote My Voice, Reform Elections, Freedom of Information and the Nigerian Symposium for Young and Emerging Leaders.
