She attended the University of Ife from 1978-1982 where she gained her LL.B (Second Class Upper Division) and graduated and won a prize as the best female student.

She is the pioneer Editor and creator of THISDAY LAWYER, a 16-page weekly colour pullout law section of THISDAY newspaper, where she also maintained until recently, a weekly column, The Wig & Skirt.
