Through the guidance and trainings we received, he conquered his fear of the unknown and the uncertainties of being an entrepreneur. Prior to this time he did not understand some basic business principles and procedures, the Accelerate Labs training drilled him on setting up a good business structure and exposed him to other opportunities for trainings and accessing grants.

Accelerate Labs have really helped me in developing and making me better in my business marketing skills (an area where I so much lack and could say is my major business skill weakness before). They have also given me an exposure I can’t even imagine beyond my expectations.

The Accelerate Labs program has improved my negotiating skills and helped me understand business scaling. I say tombs up to the partners; Future Project Africa, Accelerate Hub And Microsoft for the opportunity.

The future project gave me a confidence boost and the validation I needed to take a step towards achieving my goals. Accelerate labs was a great mentoring opportunity for me. My best workshop sessions were business development and Successions planning.

The training imparted a lot in me and out of so much that was taught, I can tell I have remarkable improvement in three areas of my business; social media marketing & advertising,
presentation skills & ability to pitch my business, negotiation skills.

I really enjoyed the training. I got to hear about the training on Facebook while in Owerri and had to fly in to attend the training and it was worth it. Now I am able to use what I ave learnt in my business as photography is a crucial element I was lacking

The training has exposed me to like-minded people, and I have made connections and collaborations with co-accelerators. The platform made me understand what it takes to run a business as opposed to trading which I have been doing before now. My horizon has been broadened, and I can project and scale better for my business.

I resigned as a lecturer from Benin Republic to start my business here in Nigeria.
I can say that since the commencement of the training, I have had fresh insights into running a business. I have worked on my elevators pitch, and the pool of participants has been so resourceful as I have learnt a lot from them and they have helped me develop my business better than it was, which is why I came for the accelerator program.

I was able to successfully build an app – Imei Generator after participating in #Code2Earn Ogbomosho,I earlier had an idea but lacked the necessary skills to turn the idea into a well-developed product. I earlier thought coding was a complicated subject. I got motivated and inspired by the scopes and methods used in intel xdk to develop mobile applications during the code2earn training sessions.

I got a hint of the basic ICT training by Aiki via a broadcast message on blackberry messenger, fortunately I had time to spare and a renewal of my knowledge on the basic Microsoft office tools felt like an added advantage as I’m just venturing into the labor market as a new graduate. Few weeks after the training came my final first degree project defense, I was able to use the Microsoft PowerPoint effortlessly. I was also able to come up with a good resume with the help of Microsoft word.

The training was educating as it expanded my horizon regarding the basic office packages, and also how I can leverage on the internet to help my career and academics. I also liked the fact that there were support instructors besides the facilitator that was in the hall to put some of the participants through during the excel training.

It was also through the organisations nomination I was able to attend the Africa Business Conference at LBS.
Both training's provided tremendous personal development and networking opportunities for me. I am most delighted of your organisation’s sworn mission to build a network of empowered citizens who can transform system and societies through leadership and enterprise.

When i saw the publicity, i was excited and i registered for the training. I was able to develop my first app and website using HTML 5.

#SurulereStartUps was a melting point of the knowledge garnered through the years I have tagged along with their several Projects/Event. Listening to ChudeJideonwo, at different sessions, I realised that to become successful in the business world the following needs to be nurtured; Risk Taking and Management, Making business decisions based on sentiment can adversely affect your business, don’t compromise salaries of staff for anything and for every decision you take as a business owner, the bottomline (profitability) of the business is ultimate.

I recently attended #SURULERESTARTUPS and would gladly admit that the scope and variety of issues discussed were very key and useful for startups& growing businesses. The rich content in the presentations reflected the experienced and knowledgeable
individuals on the panel, all of whom were young and successful. They were very open and helpful in their conversations with the participants. Thank you to all concerned for their time and effort. I think many of us benefited from the event.
